4th Complete Kit - BMW M3

Haven't posted any pics since I completed my first three models in Jan, Feb and March,
I'm still steadily finishing a kit a month and this is the first of four threads showing the progress I've been making - hope you like, any comments appreciated.
Ok, this is the Revell M3 kit that I got for free, not the best kit in the world but friends of mine really like it. This was my April build.
I love the wheels that come with the kit and the finished look. Hated the crap exhaust (hence not fitted and as yet haven't found time to fit an alternative so apologies for that). Also disapointed that there was no rear spoiler in the kit, would have finished the kit off perfectly!
This was also a kit that I had a big problem when I had massive overspray all over the glass - think it cleaned up ok though.
Colour is BMW Arctic silver with Tamiya Pearl Clear and was my best paint job to date.
Imterior was my own mix supposed to be a cherry red.
Masking the front bump strips was tricky but a learning experience.
Enough talk - see for yourself:

See poor masking on front bumper and oh yeah, lost half of badge decal when waxing (should learn to clear over decals!)

Good lookin' build! I always liked the stock rims, too. And it doesn't need no wing! For the exhaust, I'd just use a couple of short lengths of aluminum tubing, mounted on the end of the kit muffler. Both the stock and most aftermarket exhaust trains for the M3 tend to look like this.
Oh, and the door handles could use a bit of flat black. If you've overcoated with laquer, use a acrylic for this, and gently scrape of any errors with a toothpick dipped in window cleaner. Much easier than masking and spraying.

That looks very nice. The black trim and panel lines look really good.
I remember when you posted the clear glass parts asking for help, and it was a mess, but you seem to have cleaned it up quite a bit, well done nice save...!! Paintwork is superb and very smooth looking. Fantastic job with the clear coat.
Top job.. And another model for the display cab.. Nice one..!!

Good work on that Euro M3.
The only spoiler that looks good on the E36 is the high LTW spoiler. The DS1 wheels are great but the DS2 wheels are better. Every kit I have see for the E36 M3 just wasn't able to get the mirrors right and almost all of E36 M3s had a sun roof.
