hey all here's something i've been wondering. in my '02 silvy i've got a tape deck in my center console that was seperate from the stock cd player that was installed. The controls for it were on the stock head unit. i've changed out the whole stereo and put in an pioneer head unit with 2 10" kicker comps under the back seat and I've got a question. does anyone know if there is a way to wire up the satelite tape deck to run with my pioneer head unit? it's not that big a deal but it would be kind of cool to listen to some of my old tapes (yes i still own casette tapes haha) that i've got and can't listen to.

as far as i know there is no way to wire it up to work. let the cassettes go man they are way outdated. besides cd's are that much better sounding.

I have to agree with him. I have the same setup. I tried the deck once and haven't put a casette in it since. Technology marches on. Besides, if the deck was wired into the stereo...well you know....
