AMX javelin

OOOPS wrong forum. but i know you chevy guys are gonna love this. hahaha look at this POS my dad just purchased. he got it for a STEAL! $2500 cash and he drove it away....he just put side pipes on it. tranny needs work but my dad said he already lined someone up to buy it! hes weird. said the guy is gonna pay him $6K cash but im not believing that till i see it. its only 290ci/auto so it doesnt have anything....pos clunker thats all it is....hey i dont know how to post vids...i want to post one but cant figure it out...

If the bumpers were chromed (as they should be) this looks like it would be a really sweet ride---looks like a cool car, even with the wheel covers instead of real wheels.

correction...there is a brand new set of 17" American Racing TorqueFlites on the car presently. Wrapped in 255/60/R17 BFGoodrich Radial T/As. My dad is about to turn around and sell the car for more. If anyone wants a javelin SSt let me know.

The bumpers on this Javelin were painted body color (in this case, Big Bad Orange). In 1969, AMC offered 3 colors on the Javelin that came with painted instead of chrome bumpers: Big Bad Blue, Big Bad Green and Big Bad Orange. Someone has painted the bumpers black is all.

Just a Javelin not an AMX 390,which was a monster, in stock form could beat a Z28 in the 1/4 mile.
