Trans Code 641 Shift Solenoid # 3 circuit fault

My mechanic replaced the shift solenoid #3. But code still shows up after the change? What is the problem here? How do I erase the code. I am definitely sure that the new solenoid is working. Could this be reason on why I sometimes experience jerking motion from shifting from 1-2 gear. This happens when I slow down (most specially when making a turn) and then after which I hit the gas pedal to regain speed, the car will jolt on shifting gear.
