a quick question about a fire ex.
i don't wanna spend like $80 on a 'car' fire ex, and was wondering if a household one that's class A,B,C would be the same. i found a nice little 2lbs (http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444280 2421&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517501&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517518&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=1408474396669957&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474396669957&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474396670271&bmUID=1125541661806) one that's only $25, and a 3/4lbs (http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444280 2413&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517501&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517518&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=1408474396669957&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474396669957&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474396670271&bmUID=1125541661849) one that's $19.

ABC should be fine, I would only use it when all else fails. The cleanup is extensive. Nice to have though.

The cleanup is extensive.
how extensive? and what's the difference from a 'car' extinguisher.

The white powder cleanup is what I mean after using the extinguisher.
I do not know the difference.

i found a nice 2lbs one that uses a dry non-toxic chemical agent, it's class 5B, C and is reccommended for use in cars. and it was only $15.
added:
here it is installed in that cubby behind/between the seats.
