did i do the airbox mod right

took the white covering off

took the box off the intake tube and cover the hole

theres one more thing but not sure how to do it


any comments

i did two other things. i took an airsaw and cut the air intake hole open wider in the inner fender, also cutting open the 3 bottoms of the black plastic piece that sits in the bottom of the inner fender where the lower part of the box sits.
also, i took a pliers & broke off the crosshatch fins inside the airbox to open up the flow, so that the inside of the airbox is more smooth & non restricted.
NO REGRETS and/or drawbacks with this!

You get get vaper lock if water gets in there. just keep that in mind. If the filter is where the old are box is, you should be fine, but if its exposed or water can get in there, well....keep your cell phone with you so you can have it towed to your house to put it back the way you founf it. Just my 2 cents.
