Yet... ANOTHER R35 Concept. These cars are so sexy looking, they need to go ahead and release one. I would bury myself in debt for one of those

That is the most beautiful next-gen skyline concept image i've ever seen.

The new engine will be a VQ series not the RB anymore, but this is the best concept I have seen, needs alittle work but it are so perty...

I guess the powerful Inline six engines are going away for the V six engines. Sigh what a loss.

what made the RB powerful wasnt the i-6 layout, but because it was a solid cast iron block. the VQ (and even the VK that MIGHT go in the sky as well), is an aluminum block, which makes it light as hell. and, with the rumors of the vq30(/32)dett that is rumored to be in the car, should double the power of previous gt-rs.

The RB is retired... It would be a great move on Nissan's part to bring it back, in the tuner's eyes. But in the public eye, they need to create an engine that is better on fuel ecomony, more efficient, etc.

So what they're doing is just what they need to. They're making a lightweight, efficient, powerful, tunable engine. Hopefully my credit is good enough by the time they release the R35 that I am able to take out a loan of that magnatude... I've never been in debt before, is it fun?

no dude hahahaha. its not fun. since i bought the sky, ive come under some financial situations, which i had to miss one or two payments on my credit card. now i have no money in my checking account, and my credit card is over its limit by 200 dollars. im not bad in debt, not bad at all...but it just sucks :D.

The chop looks nice, but it's probably little more than a pipe dream. This car is just too angular, while the FM cars are very smooth and flowing. There's almost no way an FM-based vehicle could have those body lines.

There are are no more cars with an IL6 which sucks, they are putting a V6 in the new sky.

... That is what a VQ is. Any V-Series engine signifies it's Piston Alingment. VG, VE, VH, VK, VQ, etc

I think Nissan knows what they're doing. I already explained why in my post above. Tuners are going to have less and less to work with soon, with Electronic Shift Linkage/Throttle/Everything. Swaps are going to pretty much fade out.

I'm enjoying this time period while I can... It's going to end soon. :(

A V6 in a Skyline is better weight ratio too, the inline six made thef ront weight different then if the put in a V6 and the V6 will outperform the I6 in so many ways and all this stuff...

Your not the only one who will. It's sad when you see how much electronic's come into play now. Back in the day when everything was raw an fun for the auto-tuner. Now it's more for geeks....

its not for geeks, its just furthuring the advance of the sports car industry. granted, it takes some fun out of it, but with less mechanical parts, theres less chance to break something when pushing your car to its limits. granted, on the flip side, if theres a problem it might be hard to find, especially if serveral things are wired in series instead of parallel.
