Well, as expected in any market, there is the good stuff, the aight, stuff and the shitty stuff, and the car market is no exception. In the 06' season there are a few particular cars that make me want to vomit, and I'd like to know what you guy's think of these cars.
1. Honda Ridgeline (looks like an Avalanch mixed with Joan Rivers)
2. New Eclipse (Lets just say: good thing they still have the EVO)
3. Nissan XTerra (Hate the new anti-Jenni Craig hips and square lines)

Can you guys think of any others?

have to say i LOVE the new corvette...very sexy...lots and lots of power...new Eclipes looks like AUDI could sue them for coping the TT...just looks streached out...the new Cobalt is pretty weak too...

all chevs are weak. i've driven all the new ones and they're all shit. maybe its just me but i don't like any chev

toyota echo but thats a 2005 (5-door)

i dunno about the new corvettes the first time i saw one i liked it but after that my opinon worsened. the back end looks chopped off and overall just has too much going on i think.

hate the new vette headlights cause i think it takes away from the long lived tradition of the flip ups

I forgot about V-Dub. The GTI is okay, but the Jetta looks too much like the Corolla, and sits hella hight, and the passat looks too much like the Jetta and the Corolla. THe new Tocoma is ugly is some cases. I think the fifth series corvette was much sleeker. I am very upset with chevy, they died in 1972, and they better not try to bring the Chevelle back looking like the GTO :nono: .

b.) yeah its great for $63,000 but its still $63,000 you can take a miata or a 240Z or any number of cheap old cars and make them outperform the corvette, its not the end-all performance car. and its not even exotic,cool, or good looking. IMO

I think it would be cool to own a Corvette, however I can think of alot of other things I'd rather spend $63,000 on.

i think the new chargers need to be 2 door, and lose those ugly tail lights, looks like a new intrepid frum the back

YESSS why 4 door, at least stick to something original about the car. I guess you gotta think about who they are marketing to... the guy trying to talk his wife into getting the cool 4-door with balls, and not the mom-mobile with out emptying your pockets. BMW's, Audi's, and Infiniti's are still the coolest 4 doors out there though. Love the new 3-series, the new Infiniti M.

I think Chrysler did a great job with the Charger, it was just unbelievably stupid to call it the Charger. And I also hate every Toyota, every Honda (except for the S2000), every GM anf Ford (except for the new Mustang) and I hate every Mitsubishi (except for the Evo) and the new WRX. And what the fuck is the deal with them not having a sunroof on the STi??? Oh and Kias suck, Hyundais suck (even tho they did an amazing job with the new Elantra) and I hate the new BMWs, the new Audis, the fact that Ferraris and Lamborghinis come in a non-manual form, and everything about the car industry is just starting to really suck. They want to put a V8 in the next IS and call it the IS430, WHAT THE FUCK????? I6>I4>*

i drove a 05 gt on a twisty road and it was the worst car for that kind of driving period
i spent more time braking and wrestling with the suckiness than actually going anywhere.

New GTOs suck because I have to stare at two of them everyday, both black, and both with cocky owners that have no respect for anything they don't own. Funny they paid $28k for one(5.7l), and $38k for the other(6l. Yes.hahahhahahah indeed), and they are both slower than me. It was really funny being at the track on the same night. Not much you can say after all that smack talk huh? Nothing speaks like a timeslip. I'll say that much.

so you just happened upon your cocky ass neighbors at the drag strip and raced them? thats awesome. but i dunno gto's probably way overpriced i guess but as far as looks goes with muscle cars i like them because they are subtle, the all time worst i think is fucking trans-ams or whatever it is that have those honeycomb-lookin tail lights those are so horrible. so gto is kind of nice because it doesnt look like much.

The M45 kinda looks like the first lexus's, Ya know... the ulgy ass boxy ones that everybody bought because of the "high techness".

I almost got ran over by some fuckmook in one the those new Eclipses today, and I swear to God at first I though it was one of those Mercury Cougars. And the boast about the 230 something HP V6... they forgot to mention that that big-bitch also tacked on about 800 more pounds. the 99-04 eclipse actually looks good compared to the new one, they will never touch the 91-94 and 95-99 ones thought, for a front puller, they where pretty dope. But now they have become cheep enough that the rice mafia is starting to slap on every AutoZone and Kragen part that they can, including those 25hp adding chrome fenders.

Honda thinks that by adding a V8 to the already gay Ridgeline they will increase sales... anybody over at Honda look at the FUCKING GAS PRICES LATELY?

The 1953-1962 Corvette didn't have fixed headlights. Corvette Racing asked for fixed headlights and a single intake duct on the C6 so that the C6-R could have them.

It might of been built in 1952, and sold in 1952... but marketed as new for 1953.

Much like the original Datsun 240z, released here in the United States in late 1969. Originally only 500 were brought to the States in 1969, and sold as the first batch of 1970s. They are the rarest of the rare 240z's.

One of which was just found, and bought by a friend of a friend. Build date was 7/69 according to the door tag. But it's still classified as a 1970.

He claims it as a 52 it may be because it was produced in 52 and thats what it says on the VIN plate....But Ill go get some pics and post them up its is a really clean vette. I dont know much about muscle car history...so my memory may be failing me just always talked to friends telling them 52 but he might have even told me 53.

LoL, AL-MOST! We were actually both lined up together. But that gaylord of a stager chose me and a stock STi. IDK why... I would have lost to the line, but pulled him after the line like no other. 99mphvs105+mph. I know we prolly would have went to 120-130 knowing him and the fact that our raceway has a very very long stretch after the lines.

Now if he lined up and I got a good launch.... but we'll leave that to fate.

Sure you could force induct a 250 or 292 L6, but there are only so many of those out there, and it's not everybodies cup of tea. Or hey maybe those of us who have a taste in classic or muscle cars, along with our taste for rice, can just buy up all the sr20's and load those into our clumbsy, undercompesated, classics :thumbsup: . Some people like them (V8), get over it cause they'll never go away... well maybe some day, but so will every other i.c motor.

Exactly dude...i have just as much repect for someone that drops a 440 in a 89 mustang...he obviously loves his car....but when that person rips on me for havin a 240 and says he will "smoke" my piece of Jap shit....i get pissed....I put a Rb25det in my car and i know there is no way he will take me...its the guys that dont have respect for me and what i do taht piss me off...everyone has there own style....

Good thing I did not have a camera, because the condition sickened me, and most likely woulda done the same to you. I was at a parts yard when I saw it. Now the poor thing luckly wasn't being parted out, even worse, it was owned by somebody who obviously knew dick about cars, or have the money to properly take care of this machine. Being in the parts business, he probably knew a guy whe knew a guy with a busted r33. The poor thing had this super high fiberglass wing on it, undersized wheels, Toys R Us roll cage, no front bumper, and looked like it was painted with white out... what a waste. It also had no plates, so it has probably only seen a few 5 minute midnight runs if that.
