GA Remote

Recently my remote went out on my 99 GA Se. I checked all the connections and even soldiered a lose one back on. i toke it to the GM Dealer and he tests it and said he was gone.. i did the reprogramming instructions indicated on the inside of the remote. but nothing works except the Alarm....Any heads up on how i can make mine work without spending 89$ to replace?

it wont lock or un-lock? mine quit once and it was the relay for the lock, so i replaced both the lock and unlock relys. but it might be toast from soldering and getting it to HOT. If it took $89 to get it going, i'd pay it just for the conveniance. It saves ur car from getting all those scratches around the Key-Hole...

Yes, the unlock, lock, and truck don't work at all. The alaram will work still but nothing else. I replaced the battery also.
