Does anyone know of any paint/interior friendly pestisides? I'll be driving down the road and these little itty bitty ants will freakin crawl outa nowhere. As far as i know i haven't found anyone else with this problem. They're inside, in the door jams, and in the front grill. I sprayed my grille with a garden hose and washed out like a hundred of them. I'm thinking that their living off the bugs that i hit cause i keep my car CLEAN, i vaccum the interior like every couple days and wash it every week. I HATE ANTS!!!!:swear: Does anyone have any idea on how I can send these little bastards to the darkest firery pits of hell?

You know what it's the freaking heat, it's been like over a 100* for about a week, and all the ants are all over the house, you might want to spray raid around the ground of your car maybe that will keep them away

Throw one of those insect bombs in there and then fabreeze that shit and leave the windows open and vacuum the shit out of it. That will take care of it. I have a worse problem once. I had a vette that I was storing for winter that become the home of a family of mice.

it would suck though if the chemicals were still in there and one of my dumbass friends desides to see what my seat tastes like. I should put up a sign in my car saying, "Lick up upholstery at own risk."

You just air out the area once it goes off. Thats what everyone does and its easier to air out a car than a room. Also they have scented bombs I think but febreeze will smell better IMO.

Rally Sport

Yeah, just roll up the windows, set the bomb off come back like an hour or something later then go back with a gas mask on and roll down the windows, go driving then febreeze!

i used to have a roach problem and i sprayed some bug spary stuff for your house in there every time i would see one and cleaned it out a lot. like really good. and they eventually died. then i asked a bug man when he was at our house and he said dont spray anything of any sort in it cause it is not good for your nomatter what. and i told him it was for indoors and he said it dont matter. he said to buy traps and set em around. and to buy good ones. but i havnt seen any bugs since the new engine.actually now that i think of it my bros old el camino had lots of ants and we used traps and they worked after like a week. then you just clean very very very good. good luck man, i hate bugs

lol anyone else notice the advertisements at the top of this thead?(vaginal odors in particular)
I have never had/heard of anyone having problems with anything like this, might be because of the colder climate here(maybe good for something other than icing the roads and freezing my face off).

Thats because they were actually just sticks..

My dad's 76 corvette restoration project had wasp nest in two of the wheel wells... My brother and I, solved the problem by kicking the rubber of the wheel and hitting all the wasps that come out with tennis rackets. Most fun you will ever have with a tennis racket (or with bees for that matter).

Find the nest, if its possible without taking off lots of upholstery and kill the giant queen ant (and eggs). I am wondering what are they feeding on? Upholstery stuff and glue maybe? Some SAFE chemicals might work too (teprorary)

Yeah well no self respecting chick would bang in a roach-infested car. Even if it WAS a camaro...haha

I've seen them swarm around the smashed bugs in my grill and all around the ones on my windshield.

Found out that chicks feel the same about ants too. I guess if I can't get the ants out i've gotta get the non-self respecting chicks in

Crabs, that f***** up. Did you shave the car bald and u se shampoo for 2 weeks? I had bee hives behind the sideview mirrors and a couple of deads mice under the backs seats, when i got the car, it sure was full of surprises.

well u can always get u a raid bomb that is scent free and mildew free and leave it in there im sure that will work great. ive done it in my house and if u get the right one it wont leave nothing on the furniture so im guessing it wont do anything to the car as far as leaving stains.

Rally Sport
08-31-2005, 07:55 PM
Well I would think about putting a towel or something under the bomb before setting it off in my car to begin with.

08-31-2005, 08:42 PM
yeah but seeing how clean it was in my house without covering anything im sure it wouldnt do anything to the inside of a car

Well just as a precaution ya know. Like how you take up the ends of stereo wires so they wont touch others and mess up, it wont happen ALWAYS but you tape the ends so it wont happen at all.
