What can I make

Well, in school we can pick what we want to make, as long as it isnt too hard work I guess...I was wondering what kinds of things could i make that woudlnt be too difficult and would look nice or help out....just want suggestions...thanks

Well...It is a 95 civic coupe ex, and I am not paying for it...its from teh school...they are ordering whatever i want...

I just need suggestions of what accesories i can make for it, I.E. aluminum spoiler(though I hate them), muffler kit, headers, whatever.....just something i can weld and wouldnt be too much of a hassle to make..need more info just ask

IF you had all the right tools and know how you could easily make an intake(just go buy a K&N filter, or other universal cone style filter), headers(4into1 would probally be the easiest to make) and if you bought an aftermarket cat. and muffler you probally could even make a custom exhaust to go with the header. again this is all assuming you'l have all the tools required to do this and someone to advise you if you don't have a full understanding.

see was that so hard civicowner? you have a 95 civic, sure id go with the intake and exhaust route, which would be the easiest things to make and possibly make power out of, the headers however, unless made right, would prolly leak and not produce any power unless bent correctly and such.

Yea even if you have the right tools the headers are still going to be a bit tricky. So you're saying that you have to MAKE the parts or will the school just give you the money and you can buy the actual part.

Well basically we dont have to make anything, i suppose teh school could just buy the part for me. THis project is for welding, all i need to do is weld teh part on. but i thought i would take advantage of this and get something useful.

That would also be something you should have mentioned to begin with. This is the first time you've mentioned that it has to be metal and for a welding class. This is what people ment when we all said you needed to be more specific... Welding class and for your 5th gen Civic. Not trying to pick on you or be an ass, but hopefully next time you ask a question you'll know that you should be as specific as possible (even give "too much" info if you have to).

If you are going to weld hopefully you are a good welder because welding can do good things, but if you mess up then it makes a big mess. If you don't have to MAKE the parts what do you plan on welding on? There are some parts that are just bolt-on.
