96 grand am flasher

the left blinker blinks really fast in the back and not at all in the front. the light will come on in the fron t when in park so i dont think the buld is burt out so i figured it would be the flasher but i cant seem to find it, anyone know where it is?

Welcome to the forum. If you're referring to the multi-function switch, it is located on the steering column. It is what your blinker lever goes into.

Sounds like a burnt bulb to me, maybe they run a dual filament bulb, seems like you would want a brighter light for a turn signal. Thats where I would start.

But to answer your question the flasher will be under the dash (near the steering column), on my 95 I opened a door under there and it fell out at me, but I would rule that out because the back one flashes, and im guessing it works when you have the other side turn signal on.
