check engine light flashing

the check engine light is flashing on a 1999 Infinity I 30. The check engine light has been on - constant - I was told by a mechanic that checked the car is was emissions control. SHould I be concerned about the flashing?

Reset: take batt off for 30min.

If it repeats, try reading ECU codes. Read from ECU or maybe loan OBD code -reader from autozone?

Flashing means some problems: its better to know wassup & correct.
