low coolant level light

2000 chevy impala, low coolant light on dash comes on 2-3 times a day and clears, temp.indicator shows good and coolant level is fine. Is there anything that could be causing this? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Seen this on some other web sites now and then. Guess this is common and it's the level sensor actually. In some rare cases it's the thermostat and the engine is running too cold, computer sees this as air in the system or something. but that's probably not it here.

it is pissible that the sensor is faulty.
