what is the deal with these coilovers being like $1.00? they have no brand name...no specs...has anyone bought them and tried them out? or is it just a scam? i mean...someone has to have manufactured them to meet safety standards right? they also claim "the ride quality is much better than most coilovers because of the added bushings, and high spring rate." with higher spring rates with stock shox wont the car be bouncing all over the road? i dont get it...

Just think about it. Yes you can get them for $1.00 + shipping but would you trust them?

I've seen pictures of the thread stripping out on those coilovers causing the strut to puncture the top of the strut tower in the rear of a civic hatch. Not a good thing.
Safety standards? HA!

20 dollars will be the difference between your ass in your seat and your ass in the pavement. Your choice.
