new contol arm bushings

I'm having a problem? I bought new suspension components for my '84 fiero I'm trying to replace the control arm bushings, I can get the bolts undone but can't pull them out? It seems they are festered! rusted completely and they won't slide out I was wondering if any of you have had the same problem and might give me some advice on removing them. because I seriously need to put in polys. They look really nice on my floor but would work so much better on the car. Any suggestions?

but you've probably already done this; as well as beating them.
so, the next step is a cold chisel, or go straight to the torch.
someone with an oxy/acytelene, and it will have them out in no time.
otherwise, may take longer, but the $20. little propane torch kit from Home Depot, or WalMart will still be better than pounding.

...while you are doing this, hint:
put the new bushings in the freezer, until you need them.
instead of pounding and pressing them in, out of the freezer, rubber, and ESPECIALLY poly-urethane will shrink, and you can drop'em right in, bolt'em in, and watch them swell into place without the fight.

Thanks,ctesla I got them out. I got medevil with a demolition recip. saw (the kind they cut people out of wrecked cars with) you can lay waste to anything with those,now the pride of my extensive tool collection.

when at w.o.t. the grandnationals in question would boost to 15p.s.i years later 1 goes to only 12psi the other 10psi turbos both rebuilt and balanced,1 gns engine rebuilt and balanced.I am not able to get my brain around this shiz.Any ideas?coincidence I highly doubt someone has had to have had the same problem.
Replacing suspect parts is getting expensive!!!
Oh and in response to the psycho comment Fieros are plastic and are quite flammable I had to go for the saw. that thing sliced through the siezed sleaves and bolts with surgical precision didn't leave one scratch
on the control arms or frame,money well spent.

I don't know how to PM yet. But about the problem once again I don't think I gave enough info last time.I know alot about engines(father owns and operates racing specific machine shop)so I have tried cold plugs the porting and special machining (hey,it's free) waste gates not a problem.The other (87) grandnational is having the same problem.This one has 22 600 miles on it, completely stock original paint, not even one scratch beautiful. GFs car nicer than mine,I envy her it's completely mechanically sound.This car only boosts to 12psi.I am aware that they should open the wastegate only when they reach 15psi because I bought mine in 90 and it boosted to 15psi stock.What I'd like to know is what would cause the decline?what sensor delivers the boost pressure signal to the computer?Could this be from a faulty fuel pump? I just don't want to purchase one drop the tank install and be wrong.This problem has to be common both cars went like this.
