Here we go guys. Tamiya 350z with the SAS c-west t-kit, I will paint it wit Cobra Colors Daytona Blue Metalic. Shoes will be Aoshima 18-inch Bersaglios. Still needs a good bit of prep before primer in these pics.
Hopefully this one will make it to a "Complete" thread.

Nice, i need to build another one of these, color and wheels are a nice choice also. One word of advice is to temporarilly put in the front light lenses in to make sure there is a good fit, this will prevent from future fitment problems after paint. No paint scratching will occur. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the comments guys. I feel good about finishing this one because I really like the subject. Hell I almost finished my EVO 8 but I have to order new glass and that pissed me off, but it's pretty much finished.

I have a question, What 1:1 bodykit is the SAS kit based off of. I searched the web all night and found a few C-west kits, but could not find any that resembled this one. Just curious if any Nissan buffs know.

Gonna be sweet. The color choice is excellent, as is the choice of rims, and bodykit.
I'm really anxious to see this one get going!

Was just outside enjoying the beautiful weather, about to fire up the grill to smoke some country ribs and I just decided it would be a great time to take a couple of pics of the body painted.

The car is cleared but not polished, I was not going to post progress till after I polished it but could not pass up such a pretty day.

I think you should stagger the rims (wider lip in the rear than the front). You can shave the backside of the lips in the front (it's separate right?) to make them smaller than the rear.

thanks for the suggestion, it took care of 2 problems. It looks much better with the staggerd rims and now the front wheels don't stick out past the fenders. I just sanded the back of the lips a little bit, it is not a huge diffrence but is noticible. Thanks for all the comments guys.

Thanks Sasa! I'm in the process of touching up the paint, I had a few spots go thru primer while rubbing it out. Should be an easy fix.

That is my favorite pic, I can't wait to see how the whole thing looks once it's fully polished. For some reason I always get bad orange peel when I use Cobra Colors clear. That's ok though it is the easiest clear to polish out, IMO.
