Ashtray

Ok so i bought a Targus laptop power adapter for some gps'ing. I go to pull the adapter out of the ashtray power thing and sure enough i yanked out the entire power module. I have managed to get the thing back in but it doesnt popup like it used to. Any ideas on getting it back up to snuff?

BTW i didnt think i pulled very hard and the Targus adapter is a poorly designed pos.

IIRC, there's a clock spring inside there to help push up the oulet. Take out the entire ashtray assembly and you may find your problem. It's been too long, so I don't remember what's involved in removing the slide mecahnism, but you probably have to remove the radio and hvac controls...
