1995 trany problem

started having problems with my trans 3 months ago! took it to 3 tran shops and all said rebuild it. I did not have the money for a rebuild so I bought a used one from a junk yard. It had the same problems as the original so I swaped it for another one. this one is having the same problems. what could it be ? I checked the vss and the tss sensors on the tran and they appear to be fine. what could make all three tranys act the same way????? car slow to shift at take off, sometimes slams into first when stoping. driving steady at 55 it shifts in and out of overdrive. Taurus' just have bad trannys, it a sad fact of life, mine does the exact same thing (minus the in and out of OD) your best off to fix it, or start saving and drive it into the ground, my advise, if you give it a bit more gas while you accelerate then it tends to shift smoother, but other than a reabuild your out of luck sorry dude
