Rust

I found a whole shit load of rust on my car yesterday. I had to cut it all out with tin snips in 90* weather from my driver side door jamb from fender to fender. I had to beat the damn metal with a mallet and a hammer. Now my side skirt (plastic stock) won't go back in place. I might be putting my POS in the classifieds soon. The engine runs great though.

Oh yeah, I lowered my car all the way so I'm tucking my 14s and I have to say it SUCKS uber nuts! It looks like the way Derek's car used to. I bottom out all the time. Even if I had performance struts it wouldn't matter because there is only about 1/2 inch of travel room in the front. Plus there is so much negative camber and fucked up geometry that I can see the toe is now out of alignment by eye. Needless to say, I'm raising it up later whether it rains or not.

I meant newer, different car... like one that could be financed. I did find a 97 civic hx in good shape red with 105k miles for $7,995 but I think that's a bit much. I also found a 98 civic dx black with only 72k miles for $5,500. The HX would be cool cuz it has the light weight rims, but I don't think it's worth it... I mean, how much $ would it take to get any respectable power out of it? The DX is bone stock too. I like Hondas, but I don't know. Could I even swap my d16a6 performance parts into an OBD2 d engine (ie. pulleys, cam, cam sprocket, flywheel, clutch, etc.)?

Sorry to hear about the rex man. Im gonna end up selling mine too, b/c I found an 03 Lancer with 20K for 9 grand.
