Performance Dyno Day - Cruise

On 2nd June there is going to be the Performance Dyno Day,

however speaking to Tx2 and Setanta.... we're thinking of going for a drive or cruise that day...

We're thinking we'll attempt to get there early to get our cars on the dyno...and leave after lunch so about 1ish....

we don't want to be spending our whole day there at Croydon Auto Sports.

at the moment..a cruise to Kurrajong sounds good. route to be determined... possibly windsor rd through Richmond.

Kurrajong is fine as it's all road with some nice hairpins heading up bell bird hill. It'd be about an hour - hour and a half drive.

who is interested...or has any other ideas?

Looks like it will be a 2 car show again :p no worries.. I'll still be having fun :D

I say yet because it's typical of most of the Aussies on this forum to wimp out big time :D

yeah Forrest gump is a very well thought out movie...quite funny. only watched part of Liar Liar, as I went out.

dunno what time ill be there... sunday is usually recovery day hahaha

i doubt ill join the cruise but... sundays usually attract police attention and i still havent paid my 70$ fine for "not having a clear view" fine....

so cruise is outta the question!!!

ps. does any1 know how steep the dyno ramp is??... i dont really wana take the front bar off...

you shouldn't have any problems getting on the ramp. Cause its on the ground...or in it :p

Your only concern may be the driveway....but it should be ok I think. I got up it before when I still had the Mugen bar on the front.

speaking of dyno day, I haven't found out what time I'm rostered to work yet!

stupid work, haven't posted the rosters for that week yet :rolleyes: cause I will need to organise a swap for that day or Annual leave.

Well, as I recollect his rotor pumps about 400bhp - and I have a sneaking suspicion, but am not certain, that the figure is made at the rear wheels. I've certainly seen it lay down some serious rubber - more than a street driven honda would I'm afraid :D

Well I've told southo I'm not running my car at the moment. Gotta get the exhaust fixed, and am back to work, so it will hard to squeeze it in.

Pete, I'll let you know, but if the exhaust is still crap, I really won't be able to go cruising....its not much fun, if it feels like you're driving a boat.

It'll be a cheap fix - either a new piece of pipe or a new muffler - at worse a flex joint if the flange is broken between headers and pipe.

Of course, there's always a spare seat in my car ;)

Perhaps its the flange....can't really see until the car gets jacked up.....

so I'll have to leave it til Sat....take it to my cousins jack it up there, then take it to the muffler place.

I still haven't found out my roster yet, to see if I can swap that sunday...rolleyes.

Working 3:30 that day...hmmmm....see if I can swap it...

sent a message to my TM asking her to give me day off, or put me on leave or something.

Hopefully will be able to get the day off, then I can go for drive, and break my tyres in :Dj

Deb will see closer to the date, whether she can join us for a cruise.

I've gotten the day off, so cruise is ok...although I owe my TM one :p
