It's somewhat OT, but not completely. A very emotional second WTCC race at Oschersleben yesterday.
Alex started on pole (reverse grid on the basis of the results of the first race) and lead from start to finish. It's his first podium in the series (should've had one at Imola, but was take out on the last lap), and what a way to return to the podium - the top step.
Believe me, the race was not easy for him by any means, as Jorg Muller poshed him all the way. A mistake on the last lap almost cost him the win, but he did manage to hold on, finishing 0.232 of a second in front of Priaulx and just over 0.5 sec in front of Muller. I don't tihnk there's ever been a more welcome winner of a race.

Congrats to Zanardi!
I thought I heard he won another race earlier in the year? Maybe it was in the Italian championship or something?
