I have to switch my engine ,.,
and while I'm at it what are some mods that i can do easier while my engine is out?
and what items are the best bang for the buck on an otherwise

I would say the ACT 2100 clutch, upgrade the engine motor mounts and 3rd gen lifters if ya hve the annoying tick sound for starters.

Stock clutch should be fine.

I think it would be easier to do any kind of work on and engine with the engine out. I would check the timing belt, that would be easier if its out. Clutch and flywheel would be a good thing to do while its out. You could always build the bottom end.

I have already had to replace the clucth there's an act 2600
in there.
I do have that annoying tapping noise your right...
Im def going to look into that..
Also is it worth while to change my pistons?
Im not going to have like a 11sec car ever but I do intend to
make it around 300 hp with bolt on mods (FMIC,Fuel pump SAVC 2, headers and stuff like that. Are my stock pistons ok?

The stock internals can hold up to and some times even over 400hp. If you want you can replace the head gasket and the bolts might save you a headache in the future. But there realy is no reason.
