interior lights/ fuse blown?

my interior lights come on only when the passenger door is open. if i open the drivers door at night and the passenger door is closed the lights arent working. i thought it might be a fuse blown but i dunno
someone please help

Sounds like a door ajar switch to me.

Unscrew the hex sleeve nut from the door pillar and then pull out the switch to unplug it from the connector. Before screwing the new switch to the pillar twist it and the wiring connector four turns counterclockwise. Then when it is screwed in completely the wires aren't twisted.

where can i get this new door ajar switch and is it expensive. sorry if this question is stupid im new and dont know alot
