WIP: Blue Oval Twins

Here is the scoop. With progress on my Vette Pro Mod fixing to slow down, while I wait for it to be cast by Top End Miniatures (http://www.topendminiatures.com) I have decided to embark on this progress. I want to have these done by the middle of October, so that the owner of the 1:1 Mach 1 can put it on his dashboard at our annual car show.

I found the Motor City Muscle 69 GT 500 Kit, I decided to do a side by side build of that and an AMT 69 Mach 1. The Mach 1 is a replica of a 1:1 car that is owned by a member of my car club. The color of choice, which is also a factory option, is PPG Acapulco Blue. Im trying to hunt down some gold stripes for the Mach 1. Not much progress yet, they are both in paint, and I've got the beginnings of a 428 CJ for the GT 500. Comments and Criticism welcome!!

He made me some silver and some gold SS stripes for 2 projects I intend to finish eventually. :)

I love that GT 500 kit!! I have built several, none of them in blue however...should prove to be a beautiful car! that paint looks real good too
