Hi all, You guys have always been there to help me with all my questions on the lumina forum, but I posted in the GMC Jimmy forum, and was wondering if any of you would share any knowledge you may have on that topic. Here is the link to my post. I am at a loss, and no one over there seems to be much of help. Thank you.

---Long message, but it works.---I have a '95 Sonoma, same thing as the Jimmy but a pickup. I don't think it would be a stuck valve or anything internal of the ABS module because there is always fluid flowing through that system. It isn't until it sences your wheels are locking up that is does anything. It doesn't sound like you have air in the system because that would make the pedal feal mushy or springy. You can try flushing the system with new fluid. The easiest way to do it(maybe not the best), just as if you were bleading the brakes. pump the pedal about 5 times, unscrew the bleader screw on the caliper and let all the fluid drain out until the brake pedal hits the floor. Make sure you tighten the bleader screw before they release the brake pedal or you will suck in air. After you do that take the cap of the resivoir and refill it with fluid. Make sure you put the cap back on the resivoir or you will have a big mess. Then do the same thing again. Do it until the fluid comes out looking more like the fluid you are pooring in. Then you will have to do the same thing for all four wheels. It will probably take you a while and quite a bit of fluid, but it is easier than draining the whole system and re-bleading everything. Once you get air into the ABS module it is a big pain in the ass to get it out. I'm not sure if that will better the problem or not. It kinda sounds like a sensor or something in the computer if it only does it when the ABS is plugged in. Have you tried taking it to autozone to have them scan for codes? Or even a brake shop maybe. See if they've ever heard of that problem. Maybe it's an easy fix. I hope my post helped.

Thank you, cadgear suggested maybe its not getting grounded. Sounds possable, almost like the valves arent opening again. I dont know. I didnt really mess with it yet, but am going to here soon. Thank you for the reply.
