Another Fujimi 550 Maranello - This time in Yellow

Finally, I have finished a model.......

This is the Fujimi Ferrari 550 Maranello, painted in Tamiya TS-16 Yellow, Wheels are the kit wheels painte Tamiya gloss black. This is a pretty good kit with a few minor fit problem. Mainly, the interior interferes with the body if you use the kit door panels and package shelf. I did switch the seats to the Maisto seats.

Thanks to Veyron for the suggestions on the color scheme. I think the yellow/black looks kind of aggressive.

Ah..lol. Yellow today. What color 550 will we see tomorrow? That bumble bee interior looks awsome. Nice job all around too.

Nicely done.. Panel lines look well done, but I think black on yellow can look very over powered..

Thankfully due the black wheels, this one gets away with it.. And they are clean crisp lines, so this looks a superb 550.. I like how you picked out the seat inserts with yellow, you didn't go all lazy and do the entire middle, you picked out the places you wanted yellow..

BTW, BRE350Z is Wayne's handle. We need to hook him up w/an ACME signature. Time for the hazing to begin :evillol:

Looks exceptional. Yellow/black combinations work 10 times out of 10. Yours is the most aggressive-looking 550 on AF to date ;)

I start to wonder, if black and yellow isnt´the best color scheme for Ferraris (although the Azzuro scheme from Ales is great as well)!

I'm going to try to get some better pics. The more I look at these the worse they look. Too grainy, I'll get some better ones soon.

Looks good in yeller. I like the headlight treatment with the body color under the headlight cover, and the black wheels. Nice model, Eric.

The paint is immaculate, as expected and the finish is perfect.
