Paint oxidizing

On my Black 2000 eclipse my paint is starting to go white like from the weather or something...Im not sure what it is but it started on the hatch and now theres some spots near the sun roof. I think it mght form some waxes i used or something... just not sure....has anybody else had this probem and how did u go along fixing it....as last resort i guess il get a new paint job.....thanx

If I recall correctly I think that it is a common problem with all black eclipse. I think it had something to do with the paint

try using some wax compound to see if it comes off. if it doesn't, it may be the paint fading and what you see is the primer. I usually see that on cars that have been parked outside for a long time through the rain and burning heat. it eventually eats away the finish and into the coat.
