How did you find AF?

I was in Maxima.org, and someone I was helping out linked me here. Now, I divide my time between here, Maxima.org, and work. Go figure!!:D (oh, and this weird obsession I've got with meeting saturntangerine..... Jeez, I need :help: )

does anyone know how many ladies there are here on the boards? I mean that actually post (if you look at the members section, probably more than half of the members have between 0 and 2 posts)

I used to go on OT.net quite a bit...someone posted a link to this site....a thread where someone had wrecked their IS300. From there I checked it out then registered in August but didn't start posting til recently :) I feel much more at home here...the other place had too much e-drama and most of the people on there had an attitude against you if you drove anything other than a Honda..they're good cars, but not the only good cars IMO.

Anyway, some guy in the SHO Off-Topic board posted that there was a new forum called automotiveforums.com that was less than two weeks old. I checked it out, it was a ghost town back then, but they were looking for mods (for whatever reason, I wanted desperately at the time to be a moderator at SHO). I saw the potential to be a moderator, and to be a part of a new web site, and help build it pretty much from the ground floor. I'm real glad that I stuck it out. This place is great!! :sun:

Japanese VS. Import? What? I'd almost guarantee 9 of 10 Americans consider Japanese cars to be imports. Although there are an amazing number of foriegn automakers with many of their mass plants on American soil.

I heard about this site while posting on C&D. Those forums went to hell so I signed up here

I found this site through G20.net, which is a very informative website as well.

I was actually looking for the other AF (Raskas site) when the C & D server was on the fritz.

Now that the one and only moderator at C & D irritated me to the Nthhh degree, I am here full time!!

I lurked around for a few months, didn't post but one or two posts, then I got to know some ppl and it was all over after that :D Addiction!!!

i was here cus Adam from supercars (the zonda mod here) told us all about it and that he was a mod and that the forum was great so iu came

I found out about automotiveforums by constant google searches of the Evo VII, then i found lancerz.com then hit forums then here I am.

Igor sent me an invitation and I checked it out; I was @ Pacific Rim's Forum but they screwed me on an Option2 magazine order and I stopped going there. I made one or two posts here and something clicked...I don't remember much after that! I consider this place to be my virtual home! Everyone's been helpful and I can honestly say that I know cool people all over the world! :cool:

Found AF through Yahoo late one nite.....still here:)

was bored so i decided to look for car forums on the net. entered in automotive forums into search engine and this one appeare. i now chat on 3 different car forums so far...heehee. this site looks really groovy though. the other two forums i chat on are australian based, it is good to be on a forum that shows me all different types of cars from around the world, and it is interesting to see what ppl do to there cars on the other side of the globe.
