Hi, i own a Continental and i got this "Ride Control" singnal in the dash. It went away. When i went out to drive today i found the ride very harsh. When i came home i saw that the car is lying down in the front, both sides. I tried to start it and drive it but it doesn't stabilize, also i noticed that it doesn't "pump" like it always did for about 5 seconds when i exited the vehicle. ( I always heard this pumping sound ).
What could this be?

Everyone is going to always say check the switch in the trunk, make sure it is in the "on" position. This turns on/off the ride control. Always check the cheapest things first, starting with the fuses under the hood making sure they are still good. If everything is good, then you can check the relay, I am not sure what year you have, but I have a 1995 and it is on the front clip above the radiator support. If all fails with that, then try jumping the pump by taking power from the battery, and connect it directly to the pump, if the pump turns on then this is a problem with the relays, fuses, or control module. If the pump does not turn on, then you need a new air ride pump. If you still cannot figure it out, try to send matthew14 a personal message.
