universal O2 sensor

Hello y'all!
Does any of you, DIY out there, knows what should be the ohms reading on the heating element of the first/top O2 sensor on a 96 Honda civic?
My old one was faulty (no ohms), so I bought a new one (a cheap universal O2 sensor). I reset the engine light and upon starting the car with a cold engine the light comes back every time. The decoder reads 0135 (faulty heating circuit of the O2 sensor #1). To confirm, the light do not come back if I reset it when engine is hot.
I read about O2 sensors and found that the ohms should be 3-14 at 68F. However I check the second sensor and it reads 14ohms while the top sensor reads 4.1ohms. Is that normal or the universal sensor is no good for my car?
There is battery power at the harness between the green and one of the black wires.
What else could be wrong?
Help me please, before I go to the dealer and by one of their sensor!
Thanks Jlagalle

The instructions said that eather one of the black wires were the same, so I didn't worry about those two. Do you think I should try to reverse them? How come the sensor itself still work then?
I bought a BOSCH PREMIUM OXYGEN SENSOR. Is that a bad brand?

aftermarket bosch has a bad rep. denso has a good rep. there should be two grounds both of their polarity does not matter. other two are power and signal. match em all up to the old harness, and it should be fine.
PS: ive ran the universal denso for over two years with no problems. i also soldered them on ;)

I switch the secondary with the primary and now I have 0141 code (O2 sensor heater malfunction, bank1, sensor2)
Conclusion: Bosh "universal" O2 sensor is *%$@#$^$!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the replies.
Right now the car runs with a light bulb (12 ohms) hooked up instead of the sensor heater and my CPU is fooled. Is there something else I could Hook up instead of a light bulb?
:)
