Error codes on 96 merucry cougar:

P0171
P0174

I think it has something to do with the mass air flow system.

Any advice on how to fix it?

Ok, well it's called the mass air flow censor and i might be able to clean it with brake cleaner or electronics cleaner to get it functioning properly
