Shaking Concord

I have a 95 concorde with 3.5L V6.
recently it started shaking. Only after hitting a bump and not having any throttle on.
If i hit the throttle it stops.
it almost feels like a loose wheel.
Highway driving never has this problem.
I am wondering if it is the tie rod end bushings at the rack although you don't feel it too much in the steering wheel. I'm probably due for new bushings anyway. I'll try that and see if it improves.
Any other ideas?

what you describe sounds like a vacuum leak in your engine. If it stops after you apply a little bit of gas, could be as mentioned before a vacuum leak.

OK,
so i jacked it up and can clearly see it is the bushings on the inner tie rod ends where they attach to the rack.
it is a common problem as explained here http://www.allpar.com/fix/intrepid-steering.html
I've experienced loose tie rods before but they felt like this before. Feel hardly anything in the steering.
oh well, live and learn.
