Video is pretty old, but I didn't know it was Saudi Nation.

FYI guys, it's called Saudi Arabia, and not "Saudi Nation." And the whole "everyone's filthy rich with an oil well in their backyard" is the biggest myth and stereotype. There are many factors on why there are several people have very nice cars there, including very lax importation and legalization laws, unlike here in the US. Also, the economy is (well was, thanks to Desert Storm) so strong that no one paid any taxes or electric/water etc bills. Income was virtually tax-free.

As for "sucker Americans," we're the ones who drive SUVs everywhere like idiots, getting 8mpg, even with rising gas prices...and we still rock 24" rims and demand huge hp out of them. In short, WE'RE the overconsumers. They're simply selling us what we abuse so badly. And they sell it CHEAP too, due to economic pressure from the US. So how come the prices are so high over here? Cuz our own drilling companies rob us blind, making billions in profit. For example, anyone recognize this quote from one of our own soldiers?

"It's no secret...I mean, I make anywheres...I dunno...between two and three thousand a month. A Halburton employee out here drivin' a bus can make all between eight and ten thousand a month. Explain that one to me...for 40 hours a week driving the same two and a half mile route. Go figure. Where do you..where's the justification in that?"

I'll leave it at that, cuz I think I'm gettin too deep for most of ya anyways :p

i dont think he listened to anything that was said....

yea sucker americans. how other way can you take that than besides what was implied? and YES IN SAUDI ARABIA MOST PEOPLE ARE RICH OFF OIL. your fuckin dumb. only a complete moron would think they would have any kind of legalization laws, or rules regaurding importation at all. dude.....you come in here pointing out the obvious and you just end up making yourself look like a retard.

FDNewbie

Wes, it has nothing to do w/ the video, but everything to do with the question you asked, and the unintelligent response nismo_power made up off the top of his head.

yea sucker americans. how other way can you take that than besides what was implied? That could be understood in two ways genius. If you mean the common ppl (us) or Americans ie the govt/major corporations, which are by no means suckers. They know what they're doing, and they do it very well.

and YES IN SAUDI ARABIA MOST PEOPLE ARE RICH OFF OIL. your fuckin dumb. You sure know how to adequately express yourself. That sure shows lots of intelligence. You sure showed me...

And genius, maybe you didn't understand what I clearly said. The vast majority of Saudis have absolutely NO ties to oil, oil companies, or their profits. You're making broad sweeping assumptions on the basis of what? Pure guesswork? Something you saw on Fox entertainment news? I know what I'm talking about. I'm Egyptian, and have spent considerable time in the Middle East. I think I just may know a tiny bit more than what you do...just maybe

only a complete moron would think they would have any kind of legalization laws, or rules regaurding importation at all.Actually, they DO have importation regulations Mr. Know-it-all. Contrary to what you believe, it's not just some guys playing around in the sand, doing whatever their mind and money allows them to do. Egypt, for example, has a mandatory 300% tax/tarrif on ALL imported vehicles, which essentially means that only the FILTHY rich can import vehicles from other nations, because they'd pay well over 3 times the value of the car by the time they're done. Again, Saudi DOES have importation laws, and your lack of knowledge of them doesn't negate their existance.

dude.....you come in here pointing out the obvious and you just end up making yourself look like a retard.Your inability to adequately express yourself w/o resorting to personal attacks, insults, and foul language doesn't exactly speak too well of your intellect either... ;)

~Ramy

PS: Oh and if you knew ANYTHING about the Middle East, you would have never said this: "you gotta keep in mind though, that half the nice cars in the middle east are hot." Why? Because BY FAR the most popular and common in number cars in the Middle East (especially the Arabian Penninsula) are what? DOMESTICS (Ford, GMC, etc,) and Toyotas - especially Cressidas. They're cherished vehicles. There are probably more Suburbans and Caddies on the streets of Saudi than there are in the US, population-wise. Know what you're talking before you start spewing ignorantly at the mouth.

i didnt say most people idiot....i said most RICH people. the filthy rich ones, are either sons of oil tycoons, princes, and sultans and shit like that. at least the guys on TOP RPM ARE FUCK NUT. JESUS CHRIST. toprpm has been around for a WHILE, and YES THEY ARE PRINCES, oil tycoons, and other royalty.

incase you didnt notice, the car is from toprpm.com....maybe i was taking a broad sweep with my previous statement, but not about the toprpm guys.

I simply gave my $0.02 w/ a minor "correction," nothing to cause ppl to get defensive, and you blew up over it. Don't worry about it man, cuz I'm not. It's all gravy.

.thats meMmm...yea it is a big car. I'll give you that. But I actually love the idea of an incredible car that you literally can 100% functionally drive around ever day (not that I would, but you COULD). Back seats, comfortable, good on gas mileage (it's not as bad as my FD lol), it actually has a TRUNK lol... It's not exactly a boat, ya know. Ever drive a Dodge Stratus? Now THAT is a boat lol.

Sort of what my friend does. He bought his FD like 2 months ago, and he's only used around 5 times! That's very common. I drove mine like crazy when I first bought it. Now, I'll be happy if I take it out once or twice a month. All of a sudden, oil changes come every 6 months, cuz she'd be hard pressed to see over 5K miles a year!
