CNN Breaking News;
'Catagory 5 F3 Hurricane' (winds up to 175mph) is about to hit New Orleans, right now they are evacuating, if you cant get out of New Orleans they have designated the super dome to be a shelter for the ppl that cant or have no way of getting out.
like holy shit, i hope everyone gets out or gets to the super dome or 1 of the other 9 last resort shelters.
just fyi, in the last 20 mins the speed of the hurrican has gone from 150mph to 175mph
they are like 5 - 10 feet under sea level and the hurricane is forcing water lvls to rise, its gonna be a tidle wave.

yea no kidding, they arent doing any thing with the prisioners they are staying in prision, they beefed up security, and they have taken over 10 buildings (including the super dome) as last resort if you can get out in time... watching cnn they keep showing the road out and the road in and ppl are acctually coming in (like 3 cars at a time). WDF!? id be driving down the wrong side of the high way just to get out if i have to, altho i donno where these ppl are gonna go? like all there stuff is in new oreleans, execpt what they was able to pack up and take with them, once they leave and their houses and stuff are gone, i donno its gonna be terrible, they are leaving with no place to go and after the hurricane they wont have anything to go back to... :S

Just so you know- It isn't an "F3". That is a Fujita designation for tornados of which the winds in the hurricane are as strong as.
Pressure down to 902 mb
Sustained winds at flight level 184 mph insane.

yeah.. I've never been so happy to be in Miami during hurrican season, we got 90mph gusts and Lv1 cane sustained... the rest of the countrys getting raped by a 5 at 175 sustained!!! my guess is gusts up to 190!! in a region thats even lower than miami and not built to withhold such huge storms. Poor city is gonna be destroyed.

Damn dude that sucks, about the floating bodies and stuff. Did you guys hear about the looters? They're all stealing stuff and the cops dont want to go in there and try to stop them because of the water.
philly rs
08-31-2005, 04:11 PM
the reason for the bodies is because in places like new orleans they burried the dead above ground, and looters are fucked up, when i was in north dakota back in 97 when the big ass flood messed up everything up that way we did all the patroling because the police didnt have the right equipment and the governor at the time up there gave us a shoot on sight order...talking about fun, man we had speed boats chasing after fools on seado's that shit was crazy..

hey guys i'm from a suburb of new orleans (metairie, which is about 10 minutes away). they aren't letting us back into the city until monday, and then once we're in we only have 24 hours to get our stuff and get back out (hope that changes). it's possible we won't be able to go home and stay there for about a month. me and my family don't know whether our house is underwater or not, but most of the city is, so it's unbelieveably stressfull. thank god we have friends in baton rouge that are letting us stay with them as long as we need to. with the looter situation we have heard that they will shoot them on site. now, that maybe a rumor but i sure hope it's true! as far as we know there has been quite a few casualties but for the most part people were rescued from their rooftops and brought to saftey by the coast guard and other operations. unfortunately there were a few breaches in the levee so more water is still pouring into the city as of this morning, hopefully it has stopped by now. thank you all very much for your concern! :)

I honestly think, that anyone that can come up with a good reason to try and kill someone who is already risking there life to save yours. Should be hit with a tranc dart and be forced to watch while they take them apart piece by piece. I have no feelings , poor or not for the looters and shooters out there. well what if you have no food? and theres no shops opened? what to do when 2/3 of the city is under water? eat your self or loot some food?
with the excption of the ppl stealing food to survive the rest of the looters (the ones stealling tvs and other shit) can be shot.

I was in New Orleans about 18 months ago and while it had alot of history and parts where amazing. The poor sections surrounding the strip was very depressing. There were prostitutes and striped cars and drug dealers all over the place. I was watching CNN and saw some teenagers with bags filled with stolen merchandise, the reporter was asking them while they were stealing and they replied. "The police stole our shoes, so we decided we need to steal some stuff too. They said we weren't allowed to carry guns. You see any guns on us. We are just trying to have stuff too". What do you think the odds are the police tried to steal there shoes?. I really am on my way to losing all faith in man kind. They don't relize that while it was a horrible disaster, they are just making it more difficult and rather working together to make things better for everyone, they are just worried about themselves. Its sad not as sad as the good people out there that lost there homes and loved ones and now have people stealing there only possesions left from this tragedy but sad none the less.

I completely understand them stealing food and water. If they have none and thats the only way to survive cause apparently there was a long delay before supplys got to them. Thats fine with me , I understand. I am not saying I hate these people and want them to die or suffer. I am saying the one's who are stealing out of greed. They should be killed IMO. They are making people who have lost enough already even worse off. Its just not right. You still think I am a dick huh Viper?. I'm sorry but that type of question to ask me like I have no heart for the pain and lose that everyone down there has gone threw is heart breaking but some people IMO are just a waste of life while others who have never thought about themselves once where just slaughtered by this storm. Its not fair and I don't understand it all.
