power sliding door

i have a 2000 venture with the power sliding door....worked great up until about a week ago....no signs of damage to the door...i did the pull the fuse out to try to reset the door...but nothing....all three switches dont work...(over head console, door, or the remote)..i'm baffled can anyone help please?...i'm trying to avoid the dealer....they want $ 65.00 an hour to find the problem..(2 hour minimum)......p.s. when i open door manually it still feels like everything is still attached...so no problem there...and also when i drive off with the door open i dont hear that buzzing noise like its open..but the dash board says door ajar...

Mine quit working for several months and mysteriously started working again. I would try cleaning up those electrical contact points that touch the prongs sticking out of the front of the sliding doors, both sides. It seemed to help me some.
