the new youth devision that Nissan is thinking of putting together. I am 50/50 on it. I got to sit in that Azeal and it's pretty cute, however a pal on the inside says Nissan probably wont bring it out. I think that the Sport looks pretty bad ass, however the prototype that they are flaunting around is sitting on 20's.... the photo looks like 17's, which means that either somebody got their info bass ackwards, or that thing is situated like a Matrix or a XA... two cars that I hate. Aslo what do you think of the R35 being the same as the G35 coupe? I like the G35 and all, but it is not worthy of the Skyline badge, no matter what's under the hood. Also I think the Skyline will lose some of it's legacy if they produce a USDM version. Just my :2cents:

What's it called here? Oh that's right...G35... and what's it called in Japan...Skyline. What did autoweek, road and track, and car and driver say? That nissan wants to bring over a USDM...Skyline... and that it was a hopped up G35. And yes Killer, I am fully aware that the R35 in JAPAN is the SAME as the G35 here. SO let me sum this up here for you, Nissan not only wants to have the G35 here but the Skyline also.

Now for the second part of your childish and useless attack:
I did not say that the G35 could or couldn't stand up to the skylines of the past. I said it did not deserve the badge. Now what I should have included was my reason... Now get out a pen and paper. I dont think that the G35/R35's looks stand up to those of the past 2 skylines.

That was my exact reasoning brutha'. Every joe business kid will have the new skyline, and it will totally kill it. I have never seen a skyline in person, and will probably only see one at a show if I do. If they bring it over here, we'll already be used to the looks, and every kid is gonna think that a "skyline" is the watered down verson that his old man has. But whatever, Nissan's gotta pay the bills I guess. How it would be nice to see another 2--sx over here though, but according to my acqauintence at Nissan of America here in San Diego, we wont be seeing any RWD other that the 350 and g35, and possibly the Skyline. Oooooh oooooh ooooh and uh I saw the sketch and 1/8 model of the new Maxima and it is HOT, looks so much smoother that the one that's out right now. The pictures should hit public in a few months, and the new Quest... ugly, but I only saw the proto so, who's to say what it will actually look like... and well is a minivan so maybe I'm expecting too much.

wtf the g35 here is the skyline there. We have the best engine option they do. The r35 is not out yet....and yes it will be out in america. THats already been said. They just dont know whether or not to sell it as an infinity or a nissan. And they dont know what engine to use yet. it sounds as the rest of the car is basically done though...which i dont get(atleast the general style) They were boasting nothing less than 400 hp and the best performing skyline ever. Now your judging a skyline by looks, which is the riciest shit iv ever heard. A skyline is known for being a performer. Sure they happend to look good also, but they performed which is the reason youve ever even heard of one in the first place. Look at the early early versions of the skylines.....yea see whats going on now. Werent exactly track worthy.

My thoughts are wait til the final product is released almost everything you hear or read isnt final. Some of the stuff that is confirmed final in rumors is the VQ32DETT. Also another to think about how many times has Nissan made a concept car to follow up a past car and not finished it looking something like the concept? The Concept Z looks like the Now Z33 and I bet the Concept R35 will look like or something close to the upcoming R35.

The previous gt-r's came with better body mods and carbon fiber this and that for weight and what not. Japan and the US and the rest of the world have a base model skyline........which isnt shit. Just like the previous models. My mom has a g35, so i tend to look up on them every once and a while. But usually its in mags if they have something about them on the cover, ill take a look to see whats up. Or if there is any new news on the "R" version being released.

Skylines are dope, but since 7th grade I've had a hard-on for Porsches, even though they are the top dog, their still all about the business. I'll die a happy man if I ever get to own one, be it a 83' SC or an 04' R700 (or 700R, I can remember how it's written). They never cease to amaze me with what they cay pack into that idy bidy car. I'd take a decked out RUF over any other exotic just because 911's have that perfect balance that's draw's me in. And that's what it's all about, that balance, whether its a 911 or a Yugo... it's all about what key elements of the car draw you in. And that's what sepparates
