service engine light and code 0410

I had my service engine soon light checked and got the infamous 0410 code about the air pump relay. I just drove 700 miles out of necessity with it on and got great gas mileage and good performance. What damage will I cause if I continue to drive it this way? Thanks.

There shouldn't be any damage to the car although the cat converter will need to work a little harder due to less O2 in the exhaust stream. It will produce higher than normal emissions and will not pass any emissions testing but otherwise nothing should happen.
