Clear Coat Paint Chipping Away 2003 Camry

I have a dark blue metallic 2003 Camry that has had HORRIBLE paint since new. At first, tiny paint chips on the roof began falling off and were the size of dimes. Now, the front of the car looks like it has many blemmishes and the there are more paint chips missing from the roof and trunk deck. I took it into the dealer and the dealer said that it was due to tree sap and that Toyota wouldn't cover it under warranty.

Has anyone else experienced this terrible paint? My car was built in Kentucky.

I also have an 03 Camry (white) built in Georgetown, KY and I have no paint problems at all which tells me you have a very defective paint job. Contact your Toyota zone manager and tell him your situation. Take photos, document everything, etc. Your car should absolutely be covered under warranty if you haven't exceed 36,000 miles by now. Was your clear coat applied at the factory or at the dealer? Please let us know how things worked out for you.
