I'm new too. What swap are you planning to do? I've done a few and I've been considering throwing a 2.8 chevy v6 into a Triumph spitfire. I'd be interested in your project.

Well I think I'm not gonna try and put the 90 Prelude double over head cam motor into the 85 prelude, just gonna find another engine,I may be interested in a swap if anyone reads this!
I'm in the process of putting an HO 305 into my lowered 2wd Jimmy after I gather a few more items!Believe it or not My father in law and I started to put a 2.8 into a 69 spitfire (it's been done and this info is on the internet!) we also had one that we bought for parts that had a 3.8 in it,And I also saw one with the aluminum buick V8 in it (215 CI)!
I do remember that you want the 85 and up camaro 2.8 and that you have to modify the oil pan! Thanks for replying,I was feeling neglected (HeHe)

( S10 2.8 will work also but 85 and up have better oiling,I can hook you up with my father in law if your interested in an 84 block though,he had it cleaned and everything but we never got to it!He sold the Body for $50 or $100 (something like that)and had spent $400 getting the seats re-upholstered!

I won't be working on anything for a couple months. I'm currently stationed in Iraq flying helicopters for Uncle Sugar. Any Spitfire project will come after the Roadmaster, 80 GMC pickup, 74 Scout II and a 48 Ford pickup. Can't believe my wife puts up with me sometimes.

Thanks. It's been a long tour, but it's almost over. The wagon is a 91 with a 350. Gray with the wood. My 16 year old daughter hates me for it. It's getting the wood taken off (it's in bad shape or it would stay) repainted, Impala SS grill and bumper and a roll pan. 18 inch wheels, limo tint and a bitchin' stereo so even an old pilot like me can hear it should complete the picture. The Scout is supposed to be first and I still have to finish my sons 80 GMC pickup. One of my copilots shot me a deal I couldn't refuse on the old ford pickup when we get back. I'm a mess. I've been without the smell of my garage for 18 months and I don't care which one gets the attention. Maybe Monday is Scout day, Tuesday is Buick day...... That could work. I wish I knew how to put a photo on here.

I have "mostly" been doing 64-72 Chevy trucks,I've had a few civics and just got rid of a crx,I wish I knew how to do pictures also I'd put one of the last 66 chevy truck on (short bed fleetside,It had a 383 stroker, muncie 4spd,I still have the short block)I'd like to put a TPI 350 into the Jimmy,I may soon, but for now just an HO 305, I do still have the 383 but I think it alittle more than the Jimmy needs!

My little S15 Jimmy I bought off of Ebay $100,I only bidded on it because no one else did!It came with new drop spindles, ball joints, tie rods, end links, lowering blocks for the rear, and everything to put the V8 in,then I bought the engine (HO 305) and trans (Ebay)$129 so I'm not into this very deep!
The body has zero rust/dents and had been repainted,it does have a few runs that need blocked out!
