transmission

2002 grand am gt.....i recently noticed on my grand am that the transmission does slip in foreward and reverse on inclines(only when i start on an incline) it has never happened when i was just driving up a hill....is my transmission screwed or has anyone else had any slippage and is it normal in this car at all...any transmission input here feel free to post?

hello tomarrow.. The transmission's probley low on fluid. the problem is the check levels on the trans. under the car. my GA's have done this several times before. I just added half to a quart of trans. fluid.
You can ussually take it to some oil change facility and they'll check it for free, if not really cheap.

thanks....i hope thats all it is....im not in the mood to put a new trans in it....i wanted to check the fluid but coudlnt find the dipstick....under the car you say.....yea ill just take it somewhere and let them deal with it....thanks for the input
