well this is a 5 speed good runner I get 42 mpg on the hwy and around 31 in the city witht the air on anyway when acceleration when it is cold everything is great when it gets warm and acceration it misseshalf the time so I ran the codes today at checker and got a 565- canister purge circuit failure, i searched the forum threads but found only a couple pertaining to the canister, I read a thread that said maybe the vent line is plugged and causing it so next time I will leave my gas cap loose and see if it still does it, it idles fine has really good power when it is not missing lol, there are no other codes, any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks fellas in advance, after i fix this code I am gonna put new pluggs and wires, this forum helped me trace down a speed sensor problem on the old ladies taurus that ford could not figure out, you guys rock

I'd still replace them if not at least check that you dont have spark leakage. Do you know how?

I'd start with the nighttime check its easy and you dont get messy. If you search this forum you can find the specs. I dont know them off hand. Also someone said if you spray (lightly) water and test at night too.
