Timing Belt SNAPPED!!!

So...I was driving and the timing belt snapped. My dad is working on it, but he says that the valves don't Always mess up. Is there some way to find out i the valves are bent without taking the head to a machine shop??

Once you get the belt changed, do a compression check on each cylinder. .

i'll do that...i just got the parts, so I guess I'll see how it goes. Fingers Crossed!
