I am having a real frustrating time finding the IAT sensor, every place says its on the Throttle Body. Ok so thats easy, i find two sensors though. One on top of the Throttle body (it says its a 5v) and if you were to stand on the passenger side of the car over the fender of the car and look towards the other fender for the driver side, .. so basically yoru eyes is looking straight at the throttle body, there is another sensor to the left.

I am trying to connect a module to the IAT sensor and make it act as a bridge for the IAT and ECU wires. But i dont watn to go cutting wires, so i need to know which one is the IAT?

Also if anyone says its the one on top of the throttle body, then i have tried every which way to connect the module to the iat sensor, but my idle F's up and it wants to cut out and shut off.

If you need pictures or anything just say so and ill be happy to post! thanks for the help

if your module = a resistor to change the iat sensor readings, i would like to know why you are doing that?

Im not trying to be mean but,

First please answer my question instead of asking one

second dont insult my intellegence by thinking im acually just putting a resistor in my IAT sensor.

thanks for the post though

the only reason why anything would be placed between the iat sensor and its wiring would be a resistor to change the ohms reading to the ecu, telling it to run richer. which in return, dumps more fuel causing your vehicle to run richer, which in return, gives you no horsepower gain but an actual loss, because, there is no real way to control your fuel without the aid of a wideband to let you know if you are even putting in the right amount of fuel, so in return, it just runs richer ;) not to mention it is the most minimal sensor used by the ecu to control the fuel. it is however a great selling product on ebay that claims to give you massive amount of horsepower. they charge $20 for it on ebay...............i assume. you can actually buy them from radio schack for $2 a piece ;)

only two sensors sit on the throttle body, that would be your tps and map sensors. cutting those and messing with its voltage will give you more problems than just a messed up idle. put them back together.

though im not fimiliar with the iat sensor location on an accord, it should either be on the intake mani or the intake itself. it has a black plug that you can pull right out of it.

but, whether you know it or not, you really are putting a resistor on the iat sensor ;) what other reason is it neccessary to change the ohm reading with the iat sensor ;) there isnt any other reason. i didnt insult your intellegence. isnt amazing how we all learn new things everyday.
