Integra vs 300ZXTT

Chalk up another one for the ricer....
Was riding home last night w/ my friend sitting shotgun. it was like 2 in the moring and this kid who i have seen around town pulls up next to me at the light. He starts asking about what i got under the hood and jokingly i reply "you dont even want to know". So he starts revving his car. It was a '92 or so 300Z, blue with black rims,exhaust(or just dual tips) and a spoiler. I had never raced a 300Z or ridden in one so i didnt really know what to expect. I had a flawless launch and by the end of third he was 3-4 lengths back. Even heard the whistlin from the turbos. At the next light i asked if his motor was stock and he said that it was except for intake and exhaust. he tried to race again but we were in hte middle of town so i just flashed my hazards and waved......

Wow, he must be the worst driver in town if he couldnt beat an integra with a 300ZXTT. Are you absolutely positive it was a TT? Better yet are you sure he was actually racing you? lol jk.

that was my reaction. it was defintely tt...heard the spoolin...said it on the back. i cant understand why poeple would underestimate any car....ive seen sleepers that would fool anyone. hey it was an old car...probably an old motor too.....

i refer to my POS honda as "the ricer". i myslef havent yet qualified for the position.

An excellent launch is the main factor in short and quick sprints. A second's hesitation, and its game over.
When I first got my car much over a year ago, I was amazed at how many cars I lost to in between lights, everything from stock civics to camry's, lol. Something obviously wasnt right; this was the famed turbo I had traded in my older NT spyder for!! So when I ended up complaining about my car to my cousin, he's like, "WTF? That's BS, you must really suck behind the wheel." Yep, reality dawned after he took the wheel from me and left most of the competition in the dust. Whereas I wheel-hopped and lost traction and dumped the clutch too late every single time, he launched it perfectly with tiny chirp from the tires, and come second gear, that was that! Launching a FWD takes so much skill... I'm out of the wheel-hop phase, but still need to get the traction issue resolved... Nice post though, spanking a TT always feels good ;)

cool, I've test driven a n/a 300zx and that thing still had some balls to it. So nice driving!
