2000 Bonneville SLE exhaust sound

Hello, I was wondering does anyone else's SLE make a hard exhaust sound when it starts up?

I just bought a 2000 SLE Bonneville with 67k miles on it and was wondering do all of them or even pontiacs in general make a type of hard exaust sound when it starts.

I thought I read somewhere that pontiac modified the exhaust system to give it a more performance type sound and was wondering if this was it.

I just dont want anything to be wrong with the engine or exhaust.

Not really sure I understand your terminology, but I haven't noticed anything unusual when starting my car.
