Battery? starter? or Altnator or what

I have a prob w/ my 97 Diamante..I can start my car and drive it all day but once I turn it off it will not start without a jump..I have replaced my starter per the dealer and the altnator within the last 4mnth..My battery is close to 6-7mnth old..I'm at wits end

Look like we have the same problem on same model of the car. Now my car in shop for 3 days. They did not find out any things yet. If they do I will ley you know or if you find out what is to fix your car please let me know. my email is [email protected]


I have an mitshubishi 97 ls, 3.5L . I just replaced new alternator and a new battery. After it stop over night and can not start.If I jump start and it start again ,I brought the auto shop, they said the keyless entry is short. But my car did not has a keyless entry. If you know any possibility problem please help. I am very appreciate. Thanks Harry Pham

I dont have keyless entry so I ha ve no idea but keep me posted

I found the problem with my car ,the circut is short in doom light and
radio also the clock in my 97 diamate. Which is located under hood, the
fuse is in location 10-and 11 of the fuse box under the hood. Which is drain out my battery evey night.
The reason was when I broungt my car to Circuit City to install my new
radio casses with mp3. The stupid electrical designe engineer let 2 group of wires and 2 big connectors can be interchanged connect.
and the technican at Circuit cty did not mark when he disconnect the
radio. When he reconnect it is been swap. everything will work but it is kill the battery. I hope it will help you on your car. If you still have the problem you can call me at 469-233-1190.

i had the same problem when i had my 93 diamante. i would only run off a jump start. turns out all it needed was new battery terminals. thats it. ran fine after that
