Ok, me & my friends are obsessed with cars. We are starting a club. Currently we have a 95 Del Sol SI, a 94 Prelude, a 96 Civic, 99 3.2CL, & soon to be my Silvia. Of coarse everyone thinks im all talk about a Silvia at the tender age of 15. ;) Im obsessed...Anyways we were sittin around a fire one night after a lil partyin, & we started talking about stuff to do to our cars. We are all pretty good with them & know a lot about them, Me & another kid know engines pretty well too, & we know how to use welders & the necessary tool to create a nice ride. & like everyone else, we painted the interiors of our cars. We took the panels off, painted them, & put them back on. But i had a better idea to make it look a little nicer. I came up with this crazy idea to cover panels with cloth...colored cloth to match the car. So we did. We did the door panels & rear panels where Honda speakers are located on a Prelude. We took the panels off, sprayed them with adhesive, streched the cloth over & made them look nice, and then put them back on. I know it sounds cheap, but ill have pictures up some time, & ill show you how a little creativity can really dress up an interior. It really does look good & with some neons under the dash, your set :) Just an idea, instead of paying 40 bucks for a dash kit, or colored carpeting. Just go to Wal*Mart, buy some adhesive, cloth of your choice, and get to work, its not hard at all. The hardest part is placing the panels back on. The Acura CL was the hardest one to put back on but i think we are just dumb & couldnt do it right...try it & let me know how it turns out for ya... you can email me at [email protected] if you have any questions or just reply here. Good Luck.
