The stats:
-Cincinnati, OH
-97 2.0L auto
-119K miles
-all power w/cruise, pwr mirriors (no power seats)
-ice cold A/C
-sliding sunroof (possibly aftermarket - took through car wash twice, no leaks)
-original factory 6 speaker am/fm cassette
-16" alloys
-4 brand new tires (cooper touring)
-front brake pads replaced about a week ago
-both lower lateral arm ball joints previously replace under recall
-both lower control arms/joints replaced this past week
-no mods, all stock
-cloth interior (clean, no stains or rips)
-2 owners previous to me
-VIN: 4b3au42y8ve180275
I bought the car at a dealer auction through my fathers license, fixed what needed fixing and am reselling for a small profit.
The dealer that brought it to auction took it in as a trade at 117K and marked the milage as 'over' or 'non-actual' because it was over 100K.
So the title shows non-actual, but the miles are right. Even Carfax.com says so.
That's why I'm selling below market value.
It's been my everyday driver for about 3 weeks now and if it doesn't sell, it won't kill me to keep it!
Runs perfect and looks almost new. (faded headlight covers, 5 or 6 hardly noticeable chips in paint that are easily touched-up)
Kelley Blue Book (I know) shows the car retailing at $5K in my area, which is about right from what I've seen at car lots here.
I'm asking $3500, non-shipped.
I'm making a little money to go back to auction and do it again, eventually building up to a late model, low mileage keeper.
The pic below is not of my car, but might as well be.. Looks exactly like that (except different alloys) and in just as good condition. Even the headlight covers match!
