Ummmm Help

I want to take down some other civics drivin on the road. Only problem is i have a D-series engine. Go ahead laugh it up. I want to know how to sqeeze every last drop of HP out of that thing, but not hurt it. I just want to be able to pull up to a Toyota Echo knowing i have the upper hand and lately i dont feel confident my car will do anything worth a smile. How much HP can you sqeeze out of a D-series anyhow? Tell me Parts and accesories i can get to help me on my way. Thank you for readin.

Oh and one more thing its a 2002 ex Brand spankin new so dont give me the Swap this and swap that speech, im gunna swap down the road when this one poops out.

here is the easiest, cheapest, most efficent way to beat the 02 EX without ruining your fuel economy. nitrous, NX kit :). No, don't be Fast and the Furious on me, if you know what you are doing it's safe. Your manifold won't suddenly blow up and your floor boards fall out. Just consider your options. Easy way to go....bottom line.

I dont want to beat an 02 ex I have the 02 EX!! I want to beat other civics on the road. cause im gettin hammered left and right.

its an auto isnt it? pretty sure the only thing you'd have the upper hand on would be a mountain bike..
how about an auto-5sp conversion?

I've been thinkin of that, How much will it run me?

a lot.... maybe sell the 02' EX, and get a 99SI? im sure that with the money you'd get from having an 02, you could get a 99 si....
b16 under the hood, you should be able to hold up with any civic around.. that isnt pretty highly modified..

Heres the thing, my dad just bought me the car for christmas, I dont think he would be to keen on turnin around and selling it, I'm only 17 so he is the owner of the car but i dont want to turn around and selll it either. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I have heard of ppl makin their autos capable of hanging with the manuals but how?

I stand by my last statement...........nitorus, no one can provide a better arguement.....well know one who knows what they are talking about at least.

:D But, all jokes aside, nitrous is the easiest/quickest way to go faster.

I'd go ahead and lower my car. Do the basics (intake, DC header, and some sort of exhaust). then get a simple like..60-shot nitrous system.

That will tide you over while u work on other things (exterior, interior) and then...K20A motor swap and 6-speed conversion from an RSX Type-S :D :D :D

I know it can be done, ATL is ahead of NC, sorry, lol, they did it at Madahvi already, I just want to see you do it, lol.

I would do nos but i dont know if you know but it is illegal on the road and besides i want the power all the time not just when i hit a button.

NITROUS is a good idea. and u can have it all the time if u hit the button all time. NITROUS kits are cheap, effiecent and easy. Except smart people can smell it if u spray to much, lol. So go buy yourself some NITROUS son and have fun beating on the other Civics.

what about using it on the street. No can do there.

That is the absolute dumbest thing I've ever read! NOS is illegal, SO you're NOT going to get it. When you race someone on the road do you obey the speed limt and use your cruise control? Yea, I didn't think so! Get yourself some NOS, although if I were you, I'd get a 50 shot and make sure you get it hooked up right and don't have any leaks. Seriously though, either you're going to spend an ASS load of money on 1. n/a: i/h/e, rods/pistons, maybe a new cam, blah, blah.....
2. Turbo, I don't even know if they are available for your car... YET
3. Sell it and get a 5th or 6th generation 5spd civic or SI. Talk to your dad and tell him what YOU want. <---You are so DAMN lucky!
4. Get the K20A motor swap and the 6spd. conversion <---I like this idea from VTEC Boi!
5. NOS. Pay $500 and get a 50 shot setup. You'll be able to beat a fair amount of cars out there. However, once your bottle is empty....no more HP until you fill her back up.

second craziest thing ive heard comin outta nc....other is a turboed and bottle fed CRVtec..some cat in charlotte area that my friend know's has it in a 92 hatch. theres a city in charlotte area...cant remember the name...the whole town is all about swaps......its sick.
